If you have questions or
desire additional information
you may write, call or Email
us with your questions. Email
works best because we do
not go the Lodge on a daily
basis. We do not solicit
members, so to become a
Mason you must task for a
Petition.

Freemasons: There is
no secret as to what
we believe
=======================

We believe in some pretty
"old fashioned things".
Such as the brotherhood of
man. Service to those who
are less fortunate. Helping
young people get a head start
toward a promising life.

We believe in God. Surprised?
Some people are. They somehow
have come to consider us a
secret society and yet our
constitution and regulations
are open for all to see.
Membership is open to men
of all religious convictions.
Our only requirement is a
belief in a Supreme Being.
This faith leads Masons to
provide homes for the elderly
and orphans.

We provide college scholarships
to promising young men and
women. We contribute to blood
banks, fund medical research,
and maintain hospitals for
crippled children. The Scottish
Rite maintains over 100
Childhood Language Disorders
clinics in Texas and across
the United States.

That's why its not surprising
that 14 presidents have been
Masons (including George
Washington) along with five
Chief Justices of the
Supreme Court. Masons are
soldiers (Gen. Douglas
MacArthur), businessmen
(Henry Ford), entertainers
(John Wayne), and even
astronauts (Wally Shirra).

If all this surprises you,
that's good. Because
sometimes, we're surprised
at all the wrong ideas people
have about us Freemasons.
We want you to get to know us
better. Masons From All Walks
of Life Stand Tall.

Charitable Activities
==========================

Allen Lodge, and many of the

some of these activities
include:

* Providing Scholarships
to both Allen and Lovejoy
Graduating High School
Seniors.

* Supporting Allen
Elementary Schools
through the "Fantastic
Teeth Club"
Program.

* Supporting Allen
Elementary Schools
through the "Take
Time to Read"

"Keep Allen Beautiful"
Trash Pick-Up Program.

* Supporting the Allen
Community by sponsoring
several "Gift of
Life" Blood Drives
every year.

* Recognizing a non-Mason
who has distinguished
themselves in service to
the Allen Community
by presenting them with a

* Recognizing a non-Mason
who has distinguished
themselves in Educational
service to the Allen
Community by presenting
them with a "Lamar"
Award.

* Supporting the Scottish
Rite Hospital for Children
and Shrine Hospitals by
making Monetary donations
and helping to refer
potential patients.

* We ask Lodge members to
complete and turn in a

Charitable Activities Form

whenever they perform
Charitable activities
and Good Works in the
Allen Community. Those
activities are those
that they do not use as
an Income   Tax
Deduction. When volunteering,
we ask the Brother
to wear something with
a Square & Compass
on it which identifies
them as a Mason.

This year we gave back
almost $ 22,000 to the
community!
